Bridge to Where?

On Monday ICC President John Irwin wrote a letter defending the ICC Student Newspaper, and praised the 2 distinguished Journalists from the Peoria Journal Star that are teaching Journalism classes there.

I certainly hope that this is not one of them.


The "Ending Earmarks Express" has been to Ketchikan, Ala., home of the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere" that cost taxpayers $223 million for a project to build a bridge to an island of 50.

The last time I checked, Ketchikan is in Alaska not Alabama. I feel for the journalism students at ICC if this is instruction they will be getting. On the bright side, however, they might learn how to rewrite press releases. From Monday's Word on the Street

He was invited by Chicago Democrat Rep. Susana Mendoza, so it would be a bit of a tricky situation for the Democrats to make an issue of it

"Chicago Democrat"? Sounds just like Aaron. He paid his own travel and expenses, but his meals and lodging were picked up by Communist China. I wonder if that was checked as well as the time he coordinated a dragnet with the FBI to stop identity theft?
